Does my lot qualify?
Since 2022, Toronto allows garden suites as-of-right. You do not need a laneway or a rezoning, and most lots with enough rear or side yard space qualify. Send your address and we will confirm.
How do I get a final price?
Start with the free lot review. If your lot works, a Site Assessment gives you a firm, written number for your property. It costs $300 + HST and is credited to your deposit if you build with us.
Can I rent it out?
Yes. A permitted garden suite is a legal, self-contained dwelling, so you can rent it.
Who handles permits?
We do. Kasa prepares and submits your zoning and building permit applications and tracks them through approval.
